Classic Nike trainers can drive some really bizarre and fascinating art pieces. Take, for example, this collaborative project between design agency Defill and Milcke. Using fruits and vegetables, the project makes sculptural versions of sneakers, and the result, honestly, kind of works. The textures are, dare we say, far more interesting than some real releases.

Having already seen the Metro Attitude from this electric collaboration between Jeremy Scott and adidas. The entire line up is as crazy as the gold silhouette we saw with the wings last week, featuring some interesting colors, patterns and adaptations I am really liking the oversized tongue on the Forum. This will most definitely be one collection to look out for summer next year.

Residents of Melbourne know all about Flinders Street Station. People have been meeting under the train station’s clocks since before time began, and now they have a Dunk to honor the famous skate spot with the gold rail.
The shoe features canvas, suede and mesh, with the varsity royal blue apparently inspired by Port Phillip Bay and the brown midsole chosen to represent the turdish Yarra River that winds its wiggly way through the magnificent city. The Nike Fall 2008 collection continues to get into stores and every day we see yet another nice release. Proper now got in the new Air Structure, the Air Max BW and a new Air Max 90. Our favorite is the new Air Max 90 colorway, which comes in black/purple. A solid mix of leather and mesh on the upper with good colors makes for an overall solid release.
Visvim’s image and design aspects continue to grown and develop on a huge scale as they source inspiration from far and wide. Hiroki Nakamura who travelled to Scandinavia and visited Oslo and Alta in Norway to locate the most tradition forms of constructing product. Mixing it with the new image of the Folk line as part of Visvim Fall/Winter collection here is one of the final pieces with the impressive Gridwood Moc Toe-Folk Boot. Featuring a lining warm enough for the most severe climates these have been well executed with four great colors adding to the gum sole.
